Hidden History: Native Peoples and the American Revolution
Join us for a screening of an excerpt of the new Ken Burns documentary, The American Revolution, which examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down.
Following the screening, a panel of Native American historians will explore the formation of the United States and discuss who was entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The discussion will be moderated by Diane Orson, Special Correspondent with Connecticut Public. Panelists to be announced soon!
Screening begins at 6:00pm. Join us for refreshments from 5:30pm to 6:00 pm.
